With Thanksgiving coming up on 11/28, we've decided to cancel the troop meeting on 11/26/2024.

Troop 46 - Eagle Project - Owen Spain

Greeting Troop 46 Scouts, Parents, and Leaders,

Please join us on Saturday, November 23 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at Matthews Presbyterian Church to help with Owen Spain's Eagle Project Workday.
Pizza will be provided for lunch and there will be bottled water available as well.
I would definitely encourage as many scouts as possible to attend and participate.

Troop 46 - Service Project 11/09/2024

Greeting Troop 46 Scouts, Parents, and Leaders,

We have a service project coming up on Saturday, November 9th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Matthew Veterans Memorial Park inside Stumptown Park in downtown Matthews.
We'll be doing some weeding, picking up a little trash, and spreading some mulch to make the Veterans Memorial area look nice just in time for Veterans Day (11/11/24).

I'll be providing doughnuts, water, and coffee (for adults)

Troop 46 - Great Pumpkin! Stakeout

Greetings Troop 46 Scouts, Parents, and Leaders,

Troop 46 will have its second annual overnight campout, the Great Pumpkin! Stakeout at Matthews Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
All patrols will be preparing a Jack-O-Lantern for an auction at the Patch 46 Pumpkin Patch and will help provide Pumpkin cleaning for customers that request it.

Please plan on arriving at 12:00 pm. The patrols should plan on:
- Preparing dinner on Saturday night at our campsite. Creativity for this meal is highly encouraged. Patrol boxes and camp kitchens will be available.
- A quick breakfast (breakfast bars, Pop Tarts, etc.).
- We need to break camp and have everything put away by 9:00 am Sunday morning.

This is a great opportunity for community exposure for Scouting at Matthews Presbyterian Church!
